Money
I have just totted up the money saved so far and it stands at £115.43p. Not sure where the 43p came from but I am sure that I need to get rid of it to a charity as soon as possible before either 1)I am too skint to afford to send it or 2)I begin to think about what I could spend the money on 3) My son goes on about our financial situation more and I get scared and squirrel it away.

I am thinking about this charity; http://practicalaction.org/home
ReplyDeleteIt was set up by the writer of "Small is Beautiful- a study of economics as if people really mattered", EF Schumacher. They aim to go beyond food aid, beyond giving the man the net to giving the knowledge to make the net and set up local sustainable economies. Its not glamorous. The web site is full of info on how to make a simple clay oven or rebuild a roof after a storm but its highly practical and realistic. I will away to e mail them.
